Tashany Brown, MPA, is an educator, policy professional, and social entrepreneur whose work connects academia, community engagement, and innovation. She holds a master’s degree in public administration and policy from Rutgers University and serves as an Adjunct Professor of Government, Political Science, Sociology, and Race & Ethnic Relations, where she inspires students to think critically and lead with purpose.
She previously served as Assistant Director at the DuBois Bunche Center for Public Policy in Brooklyn, working closely with the late Dr. John Flateau on research and community-based initiatives focused on equity and civic engagement. A national member of the Meta (Facebook) Leaders Network, Tashany leverages her expertise to promote digital leadership and community-centered innovation.
